Day One on the Blog
I just created this blog to document my adventures with my Motion tablet.
I will be going back to retroactively add anything of interest before this date. I am hoping to write and maintain this blog primarily using my tablet.
First of all I was really disappointed to find that "mylifeinmotion" was already taken as a blog address, and its' not even in use. . . so "terriblue" it is.

Ok Terri here is your first comment on your blog. I have been reading your stuff over on TPCBuzz and am interested primarily from the perspective of tablets in high school education. First, I must say that I am going to make the big switch this summer to Mac OS X tiger. I am so fed up with everything Microsoft and all the security problems that this year I am getting rid off all but MS office for Mac, and maybe VirtualPC. WINTEL hardware is ontologically flawed because of its compatibility heritage, etc. so it is time for change. The Mac mini will go far in prompting this, I predict. Surely you see Macs in education all along, but until Mac does a tablet, then I am stuck in remaining at least open to the slate concept. I, for one, consider the Motion 1400VA as merely a Pocket PC on steroids. Which means that I might actually see some use for it in a smaller form factor such as the 10 inch screen varieties of HP. More likely to carry it around that way, along with, of course, my Power Book. Then I can go back to using cell phones for what they do best - simply call management and one-handed operation.
